About Touch Compass

Touch Compass is New Zealand’s leading professional performing arts company combining artists with and without a disability, specialising in aerial work, contact improvisation, dance-theatre and film.

Our work has won many national and international awards and our performers and collaborators span the globe and count as some of the leading lights in contemporary performance.

The All-Wheels Parade and Family Day are two events in our InMotion series. This is a series of motion-themed performance events that will take place in public places throughout 2017 – celebrating our 20th anniversary year. We are proud that all the events in the InMotion series will be fully inclusive and accessible for all.

InMotion brings our work out of the theatre and into outdoor public spaces so that many more people can experience it. It offers our performers the chance to move within the everyday environment and our audiences the chance to get up close and personal to our work.

Our aim is always to challenge perceptions about what performance is and who can do it.
